Meet the Guest – Next Chapter with Jeff Stanton

After recovering from back surgery, motocross legend Jeff Stanton made a life-changing decision to prioritize health, purpose, and community. Determined to transform both his own life and those around him, he founded the Cold Water Crankers, a cycling club dedicated to helping people of all fitness levels rediscover physical activity and accountability. What began as a small local ride has grown into a powerful network of riders who have collectively lost weight, improved endurance, and built lasting friendships. Stanton credits his farm-raised work ethic, developed from years of hard labor, for shaping his discipline and mental toughness—values he now channels into his post-racing life, helping others achieve sustainable health and fitness through camaraderie and consistency.

Reflecting on his career and life beyond racing, Stanton shared how his parents’ influence and rural upbringing molded his mindset toward perseverance, gratitude, and giving back. After retiring early from professional racing, he poured his energy into cycling and business ventures, later dedicating himself to caring for his parents during their final years—a full-circle testament to the principles they instilled in him. Through stories of compassion, such as befriending a blind fan and a former critic-turned-friend battling cancer, Stanton revealed the deeper purpose behind his success: impacting lives beyond the track. His humility, faith, and service-oriented approach illustrate how personal growth and emotional maturity define true legacy more than championships ever could.

Now in his late 50s, Stanton continues to live with intention—balancing family, faith, and physical health. He remains active on the farm, cycles regularly, and leads mission trips to Guatemala alongside his wife, channeling his energy into service, leadership, and gratitude. His philosophy centers on preparation, discipline, and accountability—values that carried him from world titles to community mentorship. As he put it, “Racing is small when you get out and do powerful things for other people.” Stanton’s journey embodies resilience, purpose, and faith-driven fulfillment, offering a blueprint for athletes and everyday people alike seeking to redefine success beyond competition.
