Podcast #60 – The Difference Between Being Fit and Being Healthy Fit

There is a significant difference between fast and “healthy fast.”  How many times have you seen someone on the race course who is fast, but when you speak to them or get to know them, you notice that they have dark circles under their eyes, their hair is brittle, their skin looks like a leatherback turtle, and find out that they have all the symptoms of adrenal fatigue (night sweats, low sex drive, inability to sleep and/or craving simple sugars).

The human body is designed in a way to adapt to anything that we expose it to, positively or negatively.  Ironically, the body will continue to adapt until it cannot any longer due to insufficient food, sleep and/or fluid intake because it isn’t receiving the elements necessary to adapt and strengthen.  This is when the body becomes sick, and your bloodwork analysis reveals you have a fatigue related disease such as Epstein Barr, Chronic Fatigue, or Addison’s Disease.

During this podcast, Coach Robb walks through the process of eating, exercising, and even high-intensity training in a manner that is embraced by the body (mentally and physically) resulting in incremental improvements that are both simple and sustainable.  Nutrition and exercise do not have to be complicated subjects, as you will discover after listening/watching this podcast.
